Rain

The rainy season is here.

And it sure did catch me by surprise. That was because in the past 2 weeks of December, the weather routine would be 'sunshine in the morning and heavy rains in the afternoon'. The routine was predictable and I liked it because the rain in the afternoon would 'cool' me off after a hot morning.

But from yesterday onwards, things started to change. While it was real comfy to be greeted by the rain in the morning on my bed, the continuation of the rain for the rest of the day started to affect my mood and get me down. And whenever I looked out of the window and into the sky, I was greeted by huge dark clouds looming across the sky. It was really kinda.. depressing.

And for the first time, I managed to witness a case of a road turning into a river in JB. That sight actually traumatised me because water from the surrounding drains gushed onto the road at shocking speed. The currents were so strong that I shudder to think what would happened had Mum drove on further into the road. There is a high possibility that the car might be washed away... Thank God we managed to reverse the car and get out of that road in time.

Today was also another rainy day and I reckon I won't be seeing the sun until January. It's only 2 days but I am already missing the sun and everything that comes with a sunny day! T_T.. I miss the dragonfly that flies around my house's mini garden in the morning, I miss going out for exercise in the mornings, I miss feeling warm...

Oh dear... when will the sun come back? T_T
