Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year everybody!!

It's a time for new beginnings and I am hoping that everyone who reads this will have a great year ahead! :)
Happy Folks Gang... Miss ya all, hope you gals had a great countdown eve last night... :)

Basically, a lot has been happening after Christmas. The floods in Johore, the earthquake in Taiwan which affected internet connections but thank God, the weather's fine now and the internet connection is more or less back to normal. The flood affected a large number of Johoreans...including those in Kota Tinggi where my mother was from. She had told me that the last major flood in KT was in 1967 and at that time, her house's 1st storey was completely covered by the water but Thank God her family still had a 2nd storey and the whole family could just conveniently move everything upstairs when the floods came. But the recent floods had been worse than the one in 1967 and the waters had rose to levels that even covered a bridge...so you can imagine how bad it is...

For the people affected by the floods, the actual rebuilding of their lives start now when the weather is fine and the water recedes. And thankfully, the Malaysian government has been pretty efficient in providing aid for those affected.

On to other matters...school's reopening next week... Dunno what to feel actually... All I know is that things are going to pass really fast... 6 weeks of school in NIE and 2 months of practicum and that's it, I will be graduating... Doesn't seem too long a time but its not very short either.. Well, its gonna be my last sem and I am definitely going to do my best!

I have already made resolutions for the new year but I know that ultimately it is the Lord's purpose that prevails... :)
