Tom and Michelle Herbert

The problem of sin is very real and we all need salvation from the clutches of sin. In Tom and Michelle Herbert case, their sin of drug taking led them to homelessness, jail and they even had to give up the custody of their two children. Their guilt and shame over the wrongdoings was overwhelming. If we human beings were to look at them perhaps about a year ago, we would possibly have deemed them as hopeless. However, because of Jesus' great love and his promise that He will forgive if we confess and repent of our sins, the Herberts are able to start their lives anew and lead victorious and meaningful lives. This is the power of Christ to resurrect sinners to life everlasting. Indeed, praise the Lord for He is good and His love endures forever.

2 Timothy 2:11-13

If we died with him,
we will also live with him;
if we endure,
we will also reign with him.
If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
If we are faithless,
he will remain faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.
