~Footprints of my Life~

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed the set of footprints in the sand, one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, you 'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troubled times of my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why you would leave me when I needed you most."

The Lord replied,"My child. My precious child. I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Busy Week

This week was the one week March holidays but I was still busy. Nevertheless, I am still grateful for the break because otherwise, I would be even busier.

What have I been busy about? Well, I spent 4 days back in school. One day for choir camp duty, 2 days of full day course and 1 day of marking. I felt rather zombified after that day of marking... -_-

I just got my keys for my new place on Wednesday. Many things to do after that. Had to liase with contractor for the painting and some minor fix ups here and there. It's also tiring in a sense that I had to go around to many places to check out which places have furniture/electrical appliances that are sold at cheaper prices because I am on a tight budget. But really, I am not complaining.... it's really a privilege to own a place and I am able to do it only by God's grace and I trust that He is going to guide with my purchases and all. And this is where I am also thankful for the one week break coz it allows me some time to settle some stuff for the new place.

On top of that, I have to set a P5 SA1 science paper, so I will be going to NIE library to get some resources later.... Have to climb that flight of stairs again....

Break? Well, not really.... But it's better than none so thank God for it nevertheless! :)
